UKAT works closely with its members and member institutions to achieve its charitable objectives of enhancing student success through improving personal tutoring practice. An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the next stage of UKAT’s evolution and to influence the enhancement of personal tutoring practice across UK higher education. This varied senior leadership role requires you to work closely with the UKAT CEO and member institutions to help UKAT achieve its strategic goals of enhancing individual professional development and institutional standards of personal tutoring provision.
You will take ownership and responsibility for three specific areas of work that have already been initiated:
- the development and ongoing enhancement of the UKAT Institutional Accreditation Scheme,
- implementation of the UKAT Professional Recognition scheme for both secondary and tertiary education and
- the provision of a series of professional development workshops for member institutions within the UKAT Professional Development Curriculum.
Additionally, you will contribute to consultancy activities that UKAT undertakes with HE providers and to the effective day-to-day operation of UKAT, including the activities it delivers and the initiatives it supports.
