Individual Award Nomination
Each year, UKAT makes a range of awards to individuals demonstrating outstanding practice and support for personal tutoring and academic advising.

Innovation in Advising |
Awarded to an individual who has shown outstanding innovation in their individual practice as an advisor, or in supporting the development of others and the enhancement of advising. |
Outstanding Student Support |
Awarded to an individual who has shown outstanding dedication and support to their students through academic advising |
Outstanding Contribution to UKAT |
Awarded to an individual who has shown outstanding dedication to, and commitment in, supporting the work of UKAT to enhance advising practice |
Charlie Nutt Award for Promoting and Supporting International Collaboration in Academic Advising |
Awarded to an individual who made has made exceptional efforts to promote international exchange and / or cooperation between academic advisors and others in similar roles. This is awarded jointly by UKAT and LVSA and nominations are considered by a separate awards committee comprised of UKAT and LVSA members. |
If you know someone who you think deserves one of these awards, please use the following form to nominate them. Nominees do not have to be UKAT members. You will be required to provide a supporting statement, referenced against the criteria for the specific award, which clearly evidences how they meet the criteria and provides a justification for why you believe they deserve the award. The Awards Committee meets in January each year to decide who should receive awards; nominations close on 31 December each year. Nominations for the Charlie Nutt Award close on 28 February each year.
