Session Outline

The Student Engagement SIG has been working on a collaborative cross institution research project using Listening Rooms to identify barriers to student engagement with Academic Advising/Personal Tutoring. This project has drawn interest from a number of institutions across the country, some institutions are in the ‘ethics’ phase, others have ethical approval and will be moving towards data collection in the coming months. Still time for an expression of interest if new institutions are interested in joining the project. The SIG session at the Conference will provide an update on the research project and capitalise on the opportunity to meet colleagues in person.
